Master bedroom and full bath upstairs, small guestroom/office and half bath downstairs. Bright, cheery kitchen is stylish and functional. A yoga and exercise shed sits 100’ behind the cottage, with large windows opening on to the stream and woodland garden behind. (May to October). Hiking and bike trails nearby. Zagat-rated dining is 5 minutes away. The space Dedicated work space is on the first floor with a view towards the back of the property. Stairs to 2nd floor are steep. Use hand railing. Downstairs bedroom has a ‘narrow twin’ bed. Guest access Cottage is a five minute drive to the Village of Pawling, with Metro North train stop for commuter trains to Grand Central Station, NYC. Zagat-rated fine food restaurant, McKinney & Doyle is in the Village, minutes away. Hiking trails and Rail Trail are within 5 miles of the cottage. Great for hiking, biking and walking/jogging. In summer the famous Pawling Farmers Market is held on Saturday mornings from June 17th through September 30th. (9am - 1pm). Grills (both gas and charcoal) are available for our guests' use. We recently renovated an existing outbuilding for 3-season use as a yoga/meditation/exercise space, with large windows looking out to the back of the property and bog garden. Other things to note Child's high chair available on request. A supply of firewood is stacked and ready to use in the wood burning stove or outdoor firepit.
