Cozy, modern, private 1 bed/1 bath Suite w/everything you need, here in Weston CT. Exceptionally clean, modernized, & minutes to hiking, the BEST dining / shopping in Westport (10min away) & 1 hr to NYC! Queen bed, AC, free fast WiFi, & a completely renovated kitchen. There’s also a washer/dryer combo unit in the apt., as well as your own private parking area and patio. Separate entrance around back of main house off of a parklike, 1 acre yard. Everything here is eco-friendly, & 100% organic! The space Recently renovated, designed and appointed for discerning travelers, Suite Blueberry is the first 5 Star Organic AirBnB in Fairfield County. We do our best to make sure everything here is organic, eco-friendly and sustainably made. All nibbles and treats are always dairy-free, cruelty-free and 100% organic. (Yes, the couch is actually cruelty-free, vegan "leather" too. :) Suite is on the garden level, right off your own patio. The light in the space is wonderful all year round, and the suite is around back, on the ground level of the house, off of your own patio, with your own seating and fire pit to relax around. The yard is approximately an acre and is technically a shared space with the me living upstairs in the main house, so you may occasionally see my two small, friendly dogs out there from time to time. And while I do live upstairs, I have never had any issues with noise or sound complaints from guests, so not to worry! :) You will undoubtedly feel a sense of calm and cozy when you arrive as Suite Blueberry offers the kind of comforts and amenities you'd expect to find for weekly, and monthly bookings, but are always the same for even 2 night night bookings. A fully appointed kitchen with pots and and, dishes, glasses, stainless appliances, Bosch dishwasher, built-in fridge with ice maker, quartz countertops, toaster, etc make staying in and cooking a nice little dinner a wonderful option. For those romantic nights or just a little ambiance, there is also a candle-lit fireplace, and many other comforts of home. *** PLEASE NOTE: For longer stays of a month or more, there is absolutely no additional furniture of your own is allowed to be moved into the suite, and this is by request only, no auto bookings are enabled. *** Also, while the fireplace is a working fireplace, for your safety, the indoor fireplace can only be used with the tea lights and tea light log that is provided, not actual wood-burning logs. The lighter you’ll find here for the tea lights is electric, and flameless as well. But the fire pit outside is where you can make regular fires with wood! (Fireplace is always loaded and ready to go upon arrival. ) You have your own a/c unit, dehumidifier, and thermostat to ensure guests can customize the suite's temperature to their liking. Outside there is a patio table with seating for 4, a large market umbrella, hammock, Adirondack seating for four, and fire pit. The suite is just a 10 minute, beautiful drive to downtown Westport where there are endless incredible restaurants, cafes, and shopping like you wouldn't believe. There are also many restaurants located directly on the river, on Saugatuck Ave. Wear your walking shoes if you love to explore. The kitchen in the guest suite is always stocked with things like organic flour, oats, sugar, regular and decaf coffee pods for the Keurig, as well as a selection of organic teas, and a full selection of organic spices. There are also many dishes, bowls, and glasses, pots and pans, trays, serving bowls a toaster, and lots of other kitchen gadgets. There are even a few incredible vegan cookbooks there to help inspire, but by no means is it necessary to be vegan to stay here! Large appliances are a Samsung 36" electric range, microwave, built-in fridge with ice maker, and a washer/dryer combo unit. There's also a 34" ROKU streaming tv, an AC wall unit, your own heat thermostat, a smart lock/keyless entry, and great, extra speedy wifi for all your computer and phone needs. For long term / monthly or multiple month stays, starter supplies are always included (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps. dish soap, coffees, sugar and teas), but any further supplies that are necessary for the guest during their extended stay would need to be purchased by guest. We want nothing more than for you to enjoy your stay, so please never hesitate to ask any questions I may not have answered. I'm always here to help whenever you need. :) Other things to note • When using the washing machine (which is a washer/dryer in one!), please be sure to keep white towels and linens in the suite SEPARATE from any of your colored clothes. :) Nothing worse than purpley-pink towels when you want a crisp white one. (and thank you!). • The shower on/off mechanism is NOT broken lol. It’s just a little less intuitive to turn on than most. The round center thing needs to be pulled forward (not left or right). And don’t be afraid to do this, you won’t break it haha. My advice is to try turning it on when you get there, so if you somehow need me to show you, you’re still fully clothed. I would gladly show you! Although I’m pretty confident with this explanation, you’ll be able to figure it out.
