Guest access Prior to your arrival at Hartstene Pointe, please inform the property manager or owners of your approximate arrival time, as cell service can be unreliable on the island. Use the callbox at the gated entry to announce your arrival. Hosts will promptly buzz you in, providing a smooth welcome. Inside, access cards and keys await, granting easy access to amenities and the gated entrance. Other things to note Situated on an island which is accessed via a bridge in the South Puget Sound, Hartstene Pointe is a unique gated community that offers a true get-away-from-it-all experience. Set within a verdant forest surrounded on 3 sides by the waters of Puget Sound, the exclusive community is characterized by kids on bikes and adults jogging or strolling on roadways, with Serenity Pointe right in the heart of everything the area has to offer. Guests of Serenity Pointe have access to the community’s 6,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, and heated swimming pool and spa (from Memorial Day to Labor Day) that are just a 5-minute walk from the house with plenty of parking for bikes and cars, too. There are also three tennis courts, a basketball court, pickleball court, playground, and picnic areas to enjoy. Be sure to take in the epic views of Mt. Rainier from the tennis courts on the Spit! There are several ways to explore The Pointe with more than 3½ miles of beautiful, private sandy beaches which are quite unusual for the Puget Sound, and 5½ miles of wooded walking trails all just minutes away. Pointe Beach has parking for bikes and cars and is only a 10-minute walk from the home for those who prefer a scenic stroll to the water’s edge. For a more vigorous adventure, plan to bring along personal athletic equipment to fully experience the area’s popular outdoor land and water activities. Set out on a bike tour of the island or explore the pristine waters of the Sound on a paddleboard or kayak. Arriving by boat? Dock within the safety of the 110-slip marina that offers transient moorage for visiting guests at a per-diem fee. Mooring must be prearranged with your host. Other things to note: Guests staying at Serenity Pointe may enjoy all the community’s amenities, however, keep in mind that Hartstene Pointe is not a resort destination and does not offer concierge services. Gas, groceries, supplies, and restaurants are not available on the island; please plan travel arrangements accordingly.
