The gîte is one of two in a peaceful rural area is close to a village and plenty of things to see and do. It is set in 2 acres(0.8 Ha) of land mainly laid to grass with a lovely 9x4.2x1.2 m swimming pool. It has all the facilities you could possibly want. The gite and surroundings are ideal for families with children. The space Gîte de Monarque is one of 2 gites which sleeps up to 8. Although it has character features like exposed beams it is equipped with all the modern facilities you need including a flat screen HD TV, with satellite UK Freeview, DVD Blu-Ray player and free high speed Wi-Fi . The entrance into the gîte is into a large well appointed kitchen and dining room with a wooden table and high backed faux leather chairs for 8 people. The hallway leads to a large lounge which has a very homely feel with 4 sofas one which converts into a double bed. A lovely carved wooden wall unit, 2 coffee tables and side tables with lamps. From this hallway is also a shower room with shower cubicle, a large sink unit with cupboards and mirror and toilet. A wooden staircase leads to a landing and the 3 bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom has a carved wooden double bed. Double wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps, a dressing table and a large comfy chair for those times you want to read quietly. The second bedroom is even larger it is split into two with an iron framed double bed on one side and on the other a mezzanine floor on which there is a second double bed. There are also bedside tables and lamps, chest of draws, chairs and a large area for hanging clothes. The third bedroom contains 2 single beds, wardrobe, chest of draws, and bedside tables with lamps. Off the upstairs landing is also the second bathroom which has a sink unit, bath with shower over the bath. Guest access The whole property is ideal for families with children. The gîtes are set in 2 acres(0.8 Ha) of land mainly laid to grass with a lovely swimming pool that has a terrace with loungers and parasols and a gazebo for when you want to escape the sun completely. It is a secluded area with plenty of room for children to kick a ball and run around in. Here you will also find 2 swings. The swimming pool 9mx4.2mx1.2m with alarm. This is cleaned every day. It is shared by the 2 gîtes. There is a shower and foot bath. Around the pool are loungers, parasols and we have noodles for children to play with in the pool! Bring your own inflatables! To one side of the pool is a gazebo for extra shade. A paddling pool is available for very young children. There is a private outside eating area which has table and chairs, parasol and BBQ, overlooking the pool. We have a number of games available for guests such as swing ball , badminton, cricket and football nets that are shared by both gîtes Other things to note Towels and bed linen are provided along with pool towels. The pool is not heated so is only open from May until October. During the summer it reaches up to a lovely 29 deg C. Guests are asked to check in after 4pm although arrangements can be made to drop off luggage earlier if needed. Check out before 10am other arrangements are possible depending on the situation at the time. A £150 refundable breakage deposit is required for 7 or more nights
