AREA The house is located in the western part of Madeira Island, specifically in Arco da Calheta, a parish in the municipality of Calheta. As it is situated in a rural area, nearby, about two minutes walk, you will find a grocery store. Twelve minutes by car from the historical center of Calheta, you will find a supermarket, bars, restaurants, an artificial yellow sand beach and the Porto Recreio da Calheta. Near the house you will find the Miradouro das Florenças, which you can visit on foot or by car and where you can enjoy the incredible view over Arco da Calheta and the sea. A 15-minute drive away, you will find the Rabaçal Belvedere and the trails where some of the best known levadas start, such as Levada das 25 Fontes, Levada do Alecrim and Levada do Risco. The city of Funchal is about 45 minutes away by car. HOW TO GET TO The best option to reach the house will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners.
