One of the original gardens planted in Mount Wilson, a town well-known for its beautiful botanical displays, the grounds of Tollimount Cottage feature dozens of different native and exotic plants. No matter what time of year you arrive, you'll be greeted by a display of flowers in bloom. The gently sloping lawns and mature trees only add to the experience. Autumn is a particularly beautiful time to visit, with the home surrounded by leaves turning to gold and crimson. What we love Mount Wilson is not like the rest of the Blue Mountains. You won't find hordes of tourists descending from tour buses here, nor shops selling knickknacks. In fact, there aren't any shops or cafes. This hamlet is a dignified throwback to a forgotten age, where you can wander the streets admiring beautiful gardens under the dappled shade of deciduous trees.
