We tastefully decorated and carefully designed our home to ensure our guests have a 5 star stay & experience. The Beach Lodge is big and roomy with lots of cozy spots to lounge and relax. We sleep 6 in beds and have a high-quality air mattress and 2 comfy couches to sleep up to 8. Enjoy the outdoors in our backyard oasis or on the lovely wraparound deck. Permit #7768. Guest access Highlands is only 1 square mile so it’s easy to walk EVERYWHERE-the beach, the ferry to NYC, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, parks & playgrounds. Of course, it's even faster to get around by bike (we offer 3!) and by car. There are four parking spaces in our driveway and free street parking. You can park most places around town for free. There's also an electronic vehicle charging station @Bahrs restaurant in town. Scooter Dudes offer transportation around town via souped up golf cart for $3/person. Uber services the area. The ferry to NYC is about 1mile down the road with free parking and the bus stop to NYC is at the top of Miller Hill just around the corner. We are minutes away from beautiful Sea Bright & Sandy Hook ocean beaches & activities. Other things to note -We have family-friendly amenities but house is NOT childproofed, please monitor your children at all times. There is water run off in the back yard/side of house w/about 3-6inches of water. --Wi-Fi Ring cameras pointing at main entrance/front sidewalk/steps /landing/back door/steps. Cameras record motion 24/7 and are accessible via ring app 24/7 for security purposes only. There are NO interior cameras. -The 2nd floor Master LOFT Bedroom is a private space but there is NO door at the top of the landing to block off the staircase from the room OR to block out noise/sound, light sleepers would likely prefer one of the downstairs bedrooms. --We are close to the woods, there’s everything from loud birds to bugs to wildlife visitors, careful with kids/your pup and please don't leave food or drinks out in the house, that will attract bugs inside! -House is only accessible via stairs. -Ideally sleeps 6 but we have a high quality air mattress to sleep up to 8 -The Property is provided in “as is” condition. There may be an internet or power outage, construction, etc. If anything is wrong with the property, please report it immediately or you waive your right to remedy at a later date. We do not offer refunds for weather related incidents/power outages, etc. We suggest securing travel insurance to cover any cancellations/ refunds not covered by our regular cancellation policy.
