Mindelo is a small and calm village by the sea. "Beach House" is 500 meters away from the beach, which is very beautiful and great to relax. During your stay you can also visit Oporto. There is an underground station nearby (1.5km from "Beach House") and the trip to Oporto only takes 20 minutes. This is a beautiful town full of monuments, museums, good restaurants, Caves of Porto wine and sightseeing (you shouldn't miss "Ribeira" and "Foz"). But there are other interesting villages nearby, such as Vila do Conde and Póvoa. They are also next to the sea. So you will find excellent fish restaurants. Braga Guimarães and Viana do Castelo are also beautiful north towns thoug more distant. For all these reasons you will enjoy your staying.
