Sweet Brier Farm was built in 1801 and was an inn as early as the 1900's. The apartment, that is attached to the main house, boasts a living room with a working wood stove as one of the amenities. It has a complete kitchen with full-size stove, microwave and refrigerator, large sectional sofa, day bed and separate bedroom. We provide a coffee maker with coffee and tea, sweeteners and creamers as well as snacks. The apartment does have a private entrance and a private bathroom with shower only. THE BATHROOM IS ON THE FIRST FLOOR WHEN ENTERING AND THE LIVING SPACE AND BEDROOM ARE ON THE SECOND FLOOR. While there are house pets in the main house, they do not access the apartment. We also DO NOT allow any pets. There are many farm animals - chickens, goats, donkey, barn cats - and guests are welcome to visit them; they are always open to a snack of apples or carrots. If you like, fresh eggs are available for purchase for $4.00 per dozen. Guests are welcome to wander about the property, have a fire in the fire pit, relax in the sun or enjoy our new hot tub. If using the hot tub, we do ask that you take a quick rinse before entering.
