Enjoy comforts of home in this newly renovated, 1st floor, private 2-bedroom condo in the SW Chicago Suburbs. We offer all the amenities you need. Brand new kitchen and bath, king bed, queen bed, huge closets, and a desk in one bedroom. Enjoy the luxury of Egyptian cotton sheets and plush towels, plus lots of pillows & blankets. Two parking spots. We are near Moraine Valley Community College, Stagg High School, Palos Community Hospital, many forest preserves & trails, golf courses & much more... The space This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo on the first floor in a multi-unit building. We have stocked it well, so that you have everything you need away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, glasses, bowls, etc. There are dishes and silverware for 6. We have included coffee and tea and a few extras for your convenience. The beds are very comfortable memory foam, offering support and give where needed, and are topped with 1100 thread count, Egyptian cotton sheets. Lots of pillows and blankets. There are ceiling fans and air-conditioning units in each bedroom and in the common area. The king bedroom has black-out curtains, and the queen bedroom has room darkening curtains. The dining room has vertical blinds that also block a lot of light, along with room darkening curtains in the living room for privacy and tv viewing comfort. In the bathroom, we have provided you with plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and other emergency amenities, in case you forget anything. We have a 65" Samsung SmartTV, which includes SamsungTV (like cable TV), Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and several other apps. Feel free to sign in to apps with your own accounts or use ours. If you are staying long-term or for business, we can also provide you with a printer upon request. There is one desk in the unit, in the queen bedroom. The dining table also provides a pleasant workspace. Iron and ironing board also available. Guest access You have access to the entire condo. There is a washer and dryer on the lower level of the building. Laundry costs $2.25 per load for washing and drying (quarters). Other things to note This is not a party house, but if you would like to have ANY guests (family dinner, etc.), please let us know in advance. There are only two assigned parking spots for the unit, and if you have guests, we will need to make some arrangements. Additionally, there may be an extra charge for guests that do not stay the night if they are not disclosed in advance. Children are welcome to stay here, but we do not have any special accommodations (no child-proofing, etc.) NO SMOKING on the property. There is no access to the mailbox at this property. In the cold season, there is some noise coming from the radiator system. The king bedroom has a sound masking machine (white & pink noise) under the bed that helps keep noises to a minimum while sleeping. Additionally, if it is extremely cold outside and the radiators can't keep up, there are space heaters in the unit. This unit was fully remodeled 2 years ago. At this time, the bathtub finish is chipping, and we are planning to redo the tub and tiles very soon. We are currently looking for a contractor and the best solution to fix the issue. This does not interfere with the functionality of the tub or shower. it is merely a minor aesthetic issue.
