The Harbor House is a modern, custom-built retreat designed with comfort and style in mind. The main house is over 2,500 sq. feet and includes a spacious open-concept living and dining room, sunroom, & sleeps 14. The 1482 sq. foot garage/game room houses a pool table, poker table, air hockey, dartboard, quartz bar, lg. screen smart TV, WIFI, Outrun and Pac Man arcades, & a children's playroom. Complete with a gazebo and outdoor dining area, lawn games & firepit. Short walk to shops, & marina. The space The Harbor House is a luxurious private escape, centrally-located in Egg Harbor, with art galleries, specialty shops, restaurants, parks, a marina, and beach a short walk or bike from the front door. This custom-built retreat is fully equipped to make your Door County vacation a dream come true! You are sure to find a favorite place to relax in the Harbor House. There is over 2,500 square feet in the two-story main house-including a lounge room, a sunroom, and the spacious open-concept living and dining rooms. The furniture throughout the home has been selected for your comfort. Sink into the ultra comfy couch in the living room and start a fire if you like, or relax with a movie on the 64 inch screen smart TV. High speed WIFI is available throughout the house, and four of the bedrooms have a smart TV with the ability to sign into your apps for streaming (Netflix, Disney, Prime, etc.) There are five spacious sleeping rooms that sleep a total of 14 guests, with new high end mattresses in each bedroom. The main floor has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, large walk-in closet, and private bathroom with a large shower. The front bedroom has a queen size bed, and a beautiful view of the sunrise. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have a queen bed and 2 twin bunk beds each. The top bunk bed in each of these rooms has a sloped ceiling overhead, and makes the space a bit tight for an adult or tall child. The third upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and a peek-a-boo view of the bay. This room also has a slight slope to the ceiling on the west side, but is easily accessed on the east side of the bed. There is a 1/2 bathroom on the main floor, a full bathroom with dual sinks in the master suite, and a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub upstairs. A washer and dryer are located on the main floor for your convenience and use. The sunroom with two walls of large windows is a favorite room anytime of day, with it's beautiful view, but the evening glow at sunset is my favorite time to enjoy this space! The kitchen is not only spacious and beautiful, but it is also fully equipped with everything you need to entertain (including placemats, linen napkins, wine and champagne glasses, dishes, utensils, serving ware, pots and pans, toaster, blender, microwave, etc. For your convenience a Keurig, along with K cups of coffee and cocoa are provided. We do not provide coffee, tea, or cocoa for your entire stay, but there is enough for all of your guests to get you through your first morning. See our listed amenities for more details. The dining table can seat 8-10 people, and the island seats four. (We can remove the table leaves, for a more intimate atmosphere for fewer guests.) The Harbor House is meticulously maintained for cleanliness and safety. We want your stay to be relaxing and enjoyable. A separate 1,482 square foot building houses game rooms, guaranteed to provide hours of entertainment, and a two car garage. The downstairs game room includes a solid slate pool table, poker table with chips and two decks of cards, quartz counter top bar, mini-fridge, air hockey/ping pong table, dartboard, large screen smart TV, WIFI, and Outrun and Pac Man full size arcades. The upstairs game room provides young children with hours of imaginative play with a comfy reading nook, a kitchen and BBQ grill with interactive components, board games, and a wooden train track set that children can design and redesign over and over again. During the winter the game room is heated by an electric split, and on severely cold days may be a bit chilly. Make sure to bring sweaters or jackets. Enjoy quality time with friends and family watching the sun rise from the roomy front porch sofa and chairs, or sit to unwind and watch the sun set from the outdoor dining area in the backyard. The dining area hosts a gazebo with a dining table and chairs, a gas grill, and a cozy outdoor sofa and chairs. With nearly half an acre of property on this private corner lot, there is plenty of room to utilize the outdoor games that are provided (corn hole, spike ball, ladder ball, and paddle discs), or feel free to bring games of your own. Make memories cooking a meal on the outdoor gas grill, or sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows under the starlit sky. The Harbor House is a spectacular place to stay and spend your day, or to retire to after a day of exploration and play on the Door Peninsula. The Harbor House does offer off street parking for 6 vehicles/boats, two of which may park inside the locked garage. The Harbor House's central location is ideal for exploring Egg Harbor by foot or bike since all of the amenities of town are near. The nearest gallery is a block away. Several restaurants, specialty shops, the local market, and marina are all less than half a mile from the property. A vehicle is needed to explore all that Door County has to offer. Other things to note This rental is owned and managed by Robyn's Rentals, LLC, which is a local business in Egg Harbor. This rental is licensed in Egg Harbor, with the Door County Tourism Zone Commission (permit #09-56-2586-00), and is licensed and inspected by the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection Agency.
