Limestone Bungalow 1920 Craftsman Row House
Limestone Bungalow is fully remodeled, pro decorated & all yours for your visit to historic Maysville. Downtown, walking distance to restaurants, shops. A beautiful 1182 sqft house. Downstairs is a living room, dining room, full kitchen w/vintage touches, 1/2 bath, washer/dryer. Upstairs you’ll find full bathroom, bedroom 1: king bed, bedroom 2: loft w/ futon twin sz, bedroom 3: full bed. Yard w/a deck, fire pit (March-Dec) and a watch markers shop, not restored. WiFi, 2 streaming tv’s HVAC. The space Limestone Bungalow was completely remodeled (finished in Jan 2022). However, her charm was what drew us to her, so we kept her original woodwork, flooring, stairs and doors in place. She is located on Limestone Street across from the old Maysville High School and down the street from the access to the Ohio River. All of downtown's attractions, restaurants, coffee shop and boutiques are a short walk away. Limestone bungalow was built about 1920 and was the home of the town watch maker for years. His old workshop still stands outback, and we are planning its restoration. Upon pulling up at Limestone Bungalow you first spot Gene the bass who resides on the weathervane that tops the house. Wave to him, its good luck. the front porch has a swing so you can hang out, enjoy the weather and say his as people walk by. To enter you will punch in your personal code and step into the formal living room, tv, under stair bar with wine fridge and base of the stairs. If you pass through the living room's French doors you will enter the great room with a large dining table, sitting area and open kitchen with gas stove. the door from the kitchen leads to a bathroom/ laundry room combo and the door to the back porch. A propane fire pit and chairs are in the river rocked back yard from March- Dec. Up the stairs you will find a full bath (with tub and shower), a cozy bedroom with 2 closets, a chair and a fullsize bed. From bed you have view of the bridge spanning the Ohio River. The next room is an open loft with a tv and a green velvet sofa that lays down to create a single bed. Beyond the loft is the Master bedroom with a king size bed and view of Maysville high. Guest access Parking is in front of the house.
