Ready for a great vacation? This four seasons resort is for nature lovers, wine drinkers, sports enthusiasts, and family fun - Welcome Home! This one bedroom one bathroom condo has been completely renovated from top to bottom. It has a queen bed, queen pull out sofa sleeper , and twin pull out ottoman sleeper. The condo also comes with a full kitchen & bath, and is conveniently located to ski slopes, heated pool, gas station/market, beautiful walking trails and waterfalls. Dogs welcome. The space This condo is ground level with a walk-out back door to a patio and small private yard overlooking the pool. There are no fences around the yard. We do provide a table and two benches which can be used as a nice, outdoor mountain diner. The temperature is normally 10 or so degrees cooler than the valley which is perfect during the spring, summer, and fall. Other things to note On Wintergreen mountain, you will be right in the middle of things. During the spring, summer and fall, there is something for everyone. Wintergreen Resort offers chair lift rides, seasonal musicals, restaurants, golf (Stoney Creek), tubing, zip lines, ninja course, spa, and Lake Monacan with water trampoline and slide. This location is known as the “Fruit Loop” and “Brewery Trail”. (The “Fruit Loop” will take you to the orchards and berry farms in the area with many being pick your own. The “Brewery Trail” offers several breweries along Route 151.) In addition, there are hiking trails, biking trails, waterfalls and history galore. (Do you like waterfalls? There are several in the area with one just a one mile walk from the back door. Another is a 4 mile drive with a 1/2 mile walk to a spectacular fall. If you like a long walk with a 70 foot waterfall then Crabtree Falls is for you.) Do you just want to relax? Then take a dip in the heated pool right out the back door. If bird watching or seeing the leaves change color on the majestic Blue Ridge is your hobby, then you are in the right place. During the winter there is tubing and skiing within a 5 minute walk from the condo (27 trails with 15 black diamonds, 5 blue slopes, and 7 green runs). If you are new to skiing, they have beginner instruction available as well. You can also enjoy the night life at the lodge. If you like the quiet, return to our condo for a lovely fire and some beverages (firewood provided). This area is truly a four seasons location. There is actually more to do here in the spring, summer, and fall than during the winter season. Dogs are allowed with a $100.00 for one dog and $125 for two dogs non-refundable fee (not included in the booking) and requires prior approval from the host. The host will send you a request for funds separately to cover the pet fee. All other pets are not allowed.
