There is a large living room with a picture window and wood burning stove as its centerpiece. The master bedroom has a queen bed and 5+ windows that allow in an abundance of natural light. The second bedroom has a queen bed ideal for reading or watching TV. The bathroom is outfitted with towel heaters and modern appliances. The open kitchen is perfect for a warm gathering of friends and family and features an espresso machine. The cabin was renovated in 2020. Guest access The grounds are located in the pastoral and wild Delaware Valley of the Catskills. The cabin and 1 acre of the property is fenced in for ultimate privacy and a place for pets to roam or for the kids to play outside safely. Outside the fence, there is a walking trail that leads to a beautiful waterfall, which guests have access to. The Mongaup River is a quick walk and the Delaware River is just a five minute drive. Beyond the private grounds of the property are 10,000 acres of state land ideal for fishing, hunting, forest bathing, birding, swimming, and other outdoor activities. While we are willing to welcome children, please note the house is not childproofed. For example, we have a wood burning stove that is extremely hot and can be dangerous for young children. Other things to note The cabin is not childproofed. For example, the wood burning stove gets extremely hot and the basement area is a utility area that is unsafe for an unsupervised child. We welcome family bookings for older children as long as the parents understand it isn’t completely childproofed and take responsibility for their safety.
