The historical farmhouse sits on 48 peaceful and scenic acres. Built-in 1840, the farmhouse once served as a Civil War hospital and is rich in history. Come and enjoy a beverage or spirit on the front porch. The space The Honey Room master retreat is located on the second floor. Named for the color of the antique chairs which add character to this room. This stately room offers the modern conveniences of a flat-screen television, bedside electronics charger, a private 1/2 bathroom, and a luxurious king-sized bed dressed in 100% cotton sheets, a downy soft comforter, and cozy pillows. The Honey Room offers a tranquil historic sitting area and the use of the shareable bathroom with a claw foot tub and plush cotton towels. During your stay We enjoy visiting with our guests but completely understand if they prefer to have their uninterrupted space. Other things to note Our wifi is provided by satellite. When it is cloudy or we have inclement weather, the service is spotty. Televisions are provided, however, DVD's are the only available entertainment.
