This ranch cabin is in the middle of the Arbuckle Mts. A creek is 150 feet from the cabin. A shallow 8 x 10 pool is great for cooling off in the summer. The hot tub is available at all times. Trails go through the woods, by the creek and up a mountain to a valley overlook. This is a perfect retreat for nature lovers, not partiers. There is enough to do for a memorable vacation! Turner Falls is 9 mi. It is important to read the about the space below so no surprises. ATV info below The space Take note: when we built our cabin, we also built a storage shed to hold the logs as we built. This has been converted to a small cottage which is about 50 ft from the cabin. You can see it in a couple of the pictures. It is also listed on airbnb. The cottage may be available for booking. If you want the premises just for yourselves, the cottage will be half price, if it is not used. Otherwise the cottage is 10% off if booked and used. Enjoy the stars from the inflatable hot tub that claims to hold 7, but I would say 4 to 5 comfortably. The tub is always hot! In the summer you can splash around and explore the creek. We do have droughts and periods of low or no water flow. ***During droughts my water must be trucked in and water will need to be conserved, but not to the point of inconvenience. The small pool near the creek is great for cooling off on a hot summer day or for child play. This pool is closed in the fall until warm spring weather. Roast hotdogs or s'mores on the campfire or just enjoy the embers. We have a mountain and other trails you can hike. A large field is great for frisbee golf, baseball, tag football, etc. Cornhole and other outdoor games are available. My kitchen is stocked with all you need including coffee, drip coffee maker, bean grinder, french press, electric kettle, utensils, pots, pans, and nutribullet. The condiments available are mustard and mayo. You are welcome to use my cooking oils and spices. Grilling utensils and foil are available for the charcoal and gas grills. I sometimes have charcoal. I provide campfire wood, but it is limited. You may want to bring some. There is plenty of kindling to be found. The bathroom is fully stocked with towels, soaps and shampoos. I have a pack and play, stair gates, booster seat and a net bed rail. Wifi is available but it is not always possible to stream. Due to my remote location you will not have good phone service. Depending on your carrier, there may be no service at all. I do have an emergency only wifi phone. It is possible you may experience water problems. This is a rare thing but the pumps do fail occasionally. I will always have bottled drinking water and hot tub water to haul water for toilets. We call this glamping, glamorous camping. ***If more than two small ATV trailers or three vehicles, or you need to book the cottage as well. If you do not use the cottage, it will be half price. You can view it and book it by opening my profile picture. *** Any ATV trailers wider than 64 inches or longer than 16 ft will need to be left at the park. ATVs must be trailered while on the property. Guest access The hiking trails are listed in the notebook. Other things to note The wifi password, cleaning instructions and other helpful information is in the notebook on the counter. Some areas of my road are rough. All cars do fine, but smaller cars will need to go slower over one section.
