This 1970s era log cabin is nestled in acres of woods 3 miles from Woodstock. Walk to Cooper Lake (0.8 miles away) or simply enjoy your own stream and pond. The heart of Bearsville is a mile away with a market, radio station, music venue and multiple restaurants with nightly entertainment. Built in 1973, the expansive log structure is filled with a mix of 70's era furniture and timeless cabin touches. The space The well appointed rustic home includes a front and back porch, a dining room, 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and giant great room for lounging by the stone fireplace. Guest access Kitchen is stocked with basic essentials and equipment. Guests are welcome to the firewood pile, which we keep stocked. Other things to note We love our cabin, but it's not for everyone. There's an element of rusticity that comes with a log home on acres of wooded land plentiful with wildlife like deer, chipmunks and rabbits.
