Charming, comfy, historic cabin with modern amenities in a very private & quiet country setting just 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, 25 minutes to West Asheville and a short 10 minute drive to Weaverville. * This cabin has been on Airbnb since 2012. We bought it from our friend, Caroline, in the fall of 2021. However, we've managed it since 2015. Airbnb doesn't allow transfers of listings so we have to start fresh. The cabin had 427 reviews and 4.94 stars. Please see examples in photos. The space The cabin is located about 75 yards from the parking area. There is a slight hill down to the cabin so roller luggage isn't ideal. The path to the cabin can be wet, at times, so proper footwear is advised. Walking the path in heels isn't the best idea. Guest access Parking is limited, so only one space is available for your use. We can squeeze a second if necessary. Please park on the right side of the old black pickup truck. It is only possible to access the cabin by foot. Do NOT try to drive past the standing stones. Other things to note Our cabin is a very special place. It was built in 1815. There will be the occasional insect that makes it inside. There are woodland creatures around. The bedroom is in a loft, up a ladder. You have to carry everything from the car to the cabin. If this sounds iffy to you, a hotel may be more your speed. It's a wonderful place and you will be happily rewarded if you choose to check it out!
