Barker Pond Farm Cabins, built in 2010, feature modern amenities including a full bath and kitchen, outfitted with towels, linens and cookware. Each cabin sleeps 4 people, with a queen sized bedroom and a 2 twin sleeping loft, accessed by a ship's ladder. A screened-in porch is the perfect place to sit and listen to our resident loons. We offer two identical cabins for rent, Pine, listed here, and Spruce, which can be found under "Barker Pond Farm Cabins; Spruce" The space Barker Pond Farm Cabins are nestled into the shores of quiet Barker Pond, a 100 hundred acre pond surrounded by forested hills., with 2000 feet of private frontage. Barker Pond Farm is 135 acres of owner-managed forest, pasture and organic gardens, all on a homesteading scale. There are walking trails to explore, fish to catch, boats to paddle, birds to watch, good swimming and plenty of trails and roads to bike. A pond side fire pit is a great place to end the day with stories and songs. Winter is a great time to be here on Barker Pond as well!
