Ye Olde Manor House B&B is beautiful, spacious spot for groups of all kinds. It is furnished with a mix of elegant but comfortable antiques and traditional pieces. We are located near restaurants, trails, shops, golf courses, wineries, music venues, a sandy beach, and across the road from a 900 acre body of lakes. We are not equipped to accommodate children under the age of 12 unless they will be supervised by an adult at all time as we have water features on the property. The space Ye Olde Manor House is a bed and breakfast with 8 elegantly appointed guest rooms (including one suite), all with en suite baths. With this reservation you are reserving the entire bed and breakfast giving you exclusive use of the common areas and guest rooms. The reservation does not include use of the kitchen. It does include the use of an outdoor barbecue grill/smoker and an outdoor sink, upon request. There is a dorm room sized refrigerator guests can use and we can provide a large cooler if needed. We provide a full and different breakfast with choices each morning. We have an indoor heated swimming pool and several gathering spots indoors and out where you can relax, renew and rejuvenate. Our decor is a mixture of antiques and classic new pieces designed for comfort and elegance. We have a satellite TV, DVD player, and movie library in our living room and atrium and the Manor Suite also has a DVD player. Guests can swim indoors while listening to their favorite music on our satellite tv or stereo system, relax in the sun or shade on our landscaped three acres, play games, and watch movies. We are within 2 to 15 minutes of golf courses, hiking, biking, and ski trails, antique stores, lovely restaurants, wineries, an outdoor music venue, and a semi-private beach. We are across the road from 900-acre Lauderdale Lakes where guests can go boating, water and jet skiing. During the summer months there are antique fairs, concerts, food festivals, classic car shows, horse shows, a county fair and a range of other activities. We are not near public transportation but have on-site parking. Uber and Lyft service our area. We are approximately 1.5 hours from Chicago, 45 minutes from Madison and Milwaukee, and 15 minutes from Lake Geneva. We are far from the maddening crowd, but not too far. We treat our guests as we like to be treated when we travel...a clean, comfortable and elegant setting, well-appointed rooms, fluffy towels, high thread count sheets, and private baths. For special events such as weddings additional charges apply. Please inquire for more details. Guest access Guests have access to all guest rooms, living room, pool, atrium, gathering room, patios, terraces, deck, and outdoor spaces. Guests do not have access to the kitchen but do have access to an outdoor barbecue grill/smoker and outdoor sink. We can also make a large cooler available with prior notice. Additionally we have a dorm size refridgerator on the second floor that we stock with beverages but can empty it for your use with prior notice. During your stay We live on the property in a private suite of rooms and are available between 9 am to 9 pm if needed (unless there is an emergency). We interact with guests as little or as much as they prefer. We are on site when guests arrive to show them where everything is located and are available to open and close the pool or show you how to do so (it has an automatic security cover). If you don't need us for anything it is unlikely that you will see us other than when we are prepping for and serving breakfast. Other things to note We ask that if you have a fever, cough or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please cancel your reservation. We encourage guests to purchase trip cancellation insurance. Reservation Rules 1) We will accommodate up to 17 guests for overnight stays. 2) We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12 unless they are supervised by an adult at all times. 3) We are unable to accommodate pets other than service dogs. 4) Guests who wish to have an event on the property must contact us prior to reserving the space regarding the size and nature of the event. Reservations for events that are made without prior written confirmation are subject to be cancelled. 5) With prior written consent we can accommodate events such as weddings, reunions, bridal showers, bachelor parties, birthday and anniversary celebrations. 6) Guests who wish to have an event on the property are subject to additional fees. 7) For onsite events the maximum total number is 50 with overnight guests comprising a maximum of 17 of that total. 8) We cannot accommodate high school graduation parties. Reservations made for groups to have a high school graduation party will be cancelled. 9) We cannot accommodate high school prom and after-prom parties. Reservations made for groups to have high school prom and after-prom parties will be cancelled. We provide the following amenities: -One bath towel, face cloth, hand towel, bath robe and pool towel for each guest.
