ℭ𝔯𝔦𝔪𝔰𝔬𝔫 ℌ𝔬𝔲𝔰𝔢 When you need to get away from the noise and chaos, come stay with us. Here, the only noise you’ll hear is bird song and the chirping of crickets. Set on two acres of seclusion, you may find the pond calling your name for a visit as you’re brewing your morning coffee. While you’ve got all the peace and quiet you crave here, you’re just a few minutes’ drive from the offerings of nearby Hudson. The world-renowned sculpture park, Art Omi, is an easy 2 min walk. The space Perfect for families, groups, and celebrations, our home is all about comfort, relaxation, and connection to nature. We are so excited to share this amazing space with our “cityfolk” guests! Our 2-acre property is full of reasons to stay outside. This summer we added a firepit with seating for 6, a play structure, a tree swing, and some outdoor water toys. We also have a rocking bench seat next to our pond for nature watching-the pond has a 3 foot long snapping turtle (we call him Frank) who might come out to say hi once in a while. He's very shy and reclusive but he's a local legend and some say he's almost 150 years old! We have a brand new HOT TUB, fit for up to 6 people for relaxing and star gazing all year round. We take care of our littlest guests inside, too, by providing a pack-n-play with mattress and sheets, a high chair, kids silverware/dishware, and plenty of indoor and outdoor toys. When it’s time for dinner, you can enjoy cooking outside on the BBQ After you’ve enjoyed dinner, light a fire in the fire pit, make some messy, gooey s’mores and gather around to tell ghost stories! Hey, did we mention this? We’re pet-friendly! This is the perfect spot for ALL your family members. LIVING SPACES Step back in time in this warm and inviting living room, complete with a centerpiece brick hearth fireplace. A cozy area rug sits atop gleaming hardwood floors, forming a conversation pit around a plush sofa and two arm chairs. Think of all the plans you’ll make over evening wine and cocktails! A second study is perfectly set-up, with leather armchairs, a chess set and shelves full of books. A perfect retreat for the bibliophiles. We have a 55" smart TV in the space as well. KITCHEN AND DINING Adjacent to the living room, the kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs. Create your dishes in style, with stainless steel appliances, farmhouse sink, and even a small center table. And here’s a really cool extra. There’s a pantry right off the kitchen that has been set up as a coffee bar, with a Keurig, tea kettle, and French press. And of course, lots of big coffee mugs. BEDROOMS AND BATHS The primary bedroom suite offers a king size bed, private seating area, and ensuite bath with a shower. Two other guest rooms each offer a queen bed, and the third offers another sumptuous king bed Both the full bath with a walk-in shower and the half-bath are both located on the lower level of the home. Our window A/C units(in every room)keep things cool in the summer and we also provide a washer and dryer (because no one wants to spend even 5 minutes of vacation in a laundromat!)
