Just 1 mile from the town center, you can enjoy hilltop serenity and hot tub soaking (late September and after), yet have easy access to shops, restaurants, galleries and hundreds of miles of world-class hiking and biking trails. The home comes with 3 large bedrooms, 3 separate living areas, gourmet kitchen, decks, courtyard, and option of adding a 4th bdrm with 2 twins for $50/night (request after booking). The space You get this entire, breath-taking place all to yourselves! We keep one bedroom and one garage locked off for owner's private use, but those spaces will be unoccupied during your stay. An oversized, two-car garage is at your disposal for parking cars and outdoor gear in. Thanks in advance for not bringing bikes or skis of any kind into the house, but availing yourselves of the ample, locked garage-space available. The home boasts multiple decks and a gorgeous courtyard so you have ample choices of where to sit outside and enjoy the views and the amazing weather. There is a gas grill available for your use as well. Please note that the main house comes with all bookings and includes 3 bedrooms (king master, 2 double beds, plus a pull-out couch in the ground-level living area). This can only accommodate up to 8 guests at a maximum. If you would like more room to spread out, please request to add the use of the 4th bedroom with 2 twin beds. Otherwise, that room will remain unoccupied and locked during your stay. It has an entrance into the courtyard, across which its occupants can access the main house. Note that it has a sink, but no bathroom; occupants of this sweet little nook will need to cross the courtyard into the main house to use the bathroom. This lends the 4th bedroom a privacy and independence we find well-suited to teens or older children. (FYI: you can also lock the courtyard's gate onto the driveway. ;-)) This spacious home has several separate living areas, including 2 main-level living rooms, one ground-floor living room with ping pong table, a gorgeous courtyard and 2 large patio/deck spaces. Unless you request otherwise in advance of your stay, the heat will be set at 72 degrees in the winter. With in-floor radiant heat, it takes hours for the temperature to go up or down, and the setting is locked at this selected temperature. We find it to be the most comfortable for the most folks, but if you have a different preference, please let us know a few days in advance of your stay, and we'll adjust the heat accordingly prior to your arrival. We have upgraded our wifi service to the best available in the area: DOWNLOAD SPEED: 15 MGB/Sec UPLOAD SPEED; 3 MGB/Sec Can simultaneously stream “at least” 2 devices. Want to stay in and cook?
