Pet cannot be left unattended and must leave with you; not allowed on any furniture. Owner lives on-site. No drug use, no crypto mining or charging electric vehicles. The space Cozy brick sided one bedroom, one bathroom cabin with knotty pine walls. At 400 square feet, it's a cozy space, but perfect for a weekend of sightseeing, visiting friends/family or having a quick vacation getaway! Conveniently located within an hour of Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, Soo Locks, Seney Wildlife National Refuge and Pictured Rocks. Rental can sleep four with a full size bed and full size futon. Linens and bed clothes provided, including a pack and play and sheets. I do provide hand soap, please provide your own toiletries. Full kitchen with cookware and utensils for cooking most normal meals. Storage for snowmobile gear, and a living room A/C unit for summer use. For those with kids, the school playground is across the street. There is a 32 inch smart TV, and I do provide an Amazon Fire Stick, but you must log into your own account, and you may not purchase anything using my account. Anything purchased will require full reimbursement. Wifi can be sluggish or intermittent. The additional rules are common sense; i.e., wash and put away dishes, strip beds and gather dirty towels into provided laundry baskets, close windows, turn off lights/fans, etc. Generally, leave the space as clean as you found it. *Ozone machine disclosure* I typically use an ozone machine/air purifier between guests, which helps eliminate odors and germs. Though I follow the manufacturer's guidelines, some guests may be sensitive to the ozone or have asthma issues. If you are such a guest, you MUST discuss your options prior to making a reservation. Burning, vaping, and smoking is not allowed inside the cabin. Nicotine cigarettes is the only smoking permitted outside and you must clean up your butts; I do provide a coffee can. Should you choose to burn, smoke or vape anything other than nicotine cigarettes outside, you will be immediately evicted from the unit, without reimbursement. If you burn/smoke/vape inside the cabin, you will be immediately evicted, without reimbursement, and a $500 cleaning fee will be assessed. Further, by agreeing to rent this unit, you agree to the fee the owner will determine if the unit has an odor from smoking, burning, vaping of any substance. One dog is allowed, with a $35 pet fee. Pets are not allowed on furniture and due to past pet damage, must go with you when you leave. I have a dog, too, so pets must be leashed when outside. If your pet has an accident, you're expected to clean it up so the condition is as good as it was upon check-in, including smell. If your pet damages items/flooring, you'll be responsible for cleaning/repair/replacement at normal market costs, as determined by the rental owner. The city has quiet hour curfew from 11pm-7am. Since this is a residential area, please expect noise associated with in-town accommodations. Parties are not allowed. Please be considerate of your noise and your neighbors. Also, children are welcome, but this unit is not childproofed. I do provide a pack n play and sheets, but I have no other baby items. Guests may check-in after 3pm and must check-out by 11am. Guests requesting an early check-in or late check-out, must have prior approval. Guests checking out late, without prior approval, will be subject to a $50/hour fee and may have items removed from home to accommodate cleaning staff and incoming guests. Guests are required to notify me within one hour of check-in if anything in the cabin needs to be addressed and agree to allow me to attempt to rectify the issue. Additionally, immediately upon damaging an item, I must be informed via Airbnb app. I understand that life happens. As a small business, I hope that you understand the need to maintain a consistent cancellation policy. I recommend purchasing trip insurance that covers expenses due to the unexpected. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin. Other things to note I do provide hand soap, please provide your own hand sanitizers and toiletries. Newberry has two grocery stores, typically open until 8pm, except Sunday, which is 4pm. We have two laundromats, several banks, gas stations, car washes and pharmacies. We have a selection of locally owned restaurants and several chain restaurants.
