Daily continental breakfast is offered in the dining room. The space The Denning Bedroom is named for the family who lived in the house from 1955 to 1991. You'll have your own private bedroom at one end of the house. The beds are outfitted with premium mattresses and fresh, luxurious linens including hypoallergenic, down-alternative pillows and comforters with duvet covers. The room has a flat-screen, Samsung smart TV, workspace with ethernet and wifi connectivity and plenty of outlets, comfortable easy chair, small refrigerator, and lots of closet and drawer space. Plenty of fluffy towels, extra blankets, quilts, and sheets are available in the closet. The spotless bathroom is shared only with your host. It is stocked with salon shampoo and conditioner, premium bath gel, custom handmade bar soap, a blow dryer, and many items you may have forgotten to pack. COVID cleaning protocols and safety measures are followed. You're welcome to use the living room and dining room, where breakfast is served, and the screen porch and back yard deck. You'll find many games and puzzles on the bookshelf in the closet. Put your feet up and read one of the many books and magazines in the living room. Watch fireflies and listen to the pond fountain from the porch or deck or screen porch in the warmer months. Enjoy cross-country skiing at Huron Hills Golf Course in the colder months. The stunning Peony Garden in Nichols Arboretum is in full bloom at the beginning of June. In summer, the Ann Arbor Art Fairs and the Ann Arbor Summer Festival are a draw. You will be assigned a unique code for the keyless front door entry lock. Off-street parking is available in the driveway and you will have one parking space. Bicycles and electric scooters may be rented in Ann Arbor. Uber and Lyft are easy to summon. Public airport transportation is available by bus. Alternatively, a private car may be arranged to pick you up or take you to Detroit Metropolitan Airport. In addition to their bedroom, guests are welcome in the living and dining rooms, screen porch, deck, and back yard. During your stay I'll be available to offer whatever help or suggestions you need during your stay. I often work from my home office. You are welcome to join me in the living room to watch TV or chat, as well as on the screen porch or deck if I am outside. If you would rather keep to yourself, I am happy to go to my room or another part of the property. If there are other guests who wish to use shared/public spaces, you may decide for yourself whether you wish to share or go to another room or seating area on the screen porch or outdoors.
