Book Now for mountain charm & quite peaceful nights.🌙 The space Our farmhouse sleeps up to 11 people with 4 bedrooms. 1rst bedroom (Double Bed) on the main level downstairs, 2nd Bedroom (Double Bed) upstairs. 3rd Bedroom (2 Double Beds and 1 Twin Bed) upstairs on the second level. The fourth bedroom (2 Twin beds) is located just outside the kitchen door with its own private entrance. Perfect for youth or those that prefer to have a twin or their own little space. We have new WiFi and it works great. Also we are PET FRIENDLY!! Bring your loved animals with you. Enjoy our horses that visit in the fenced field beside the farmhouse. You are welcome to pet or even feed them. Kids love them. The farmhouse is a large home that can accomodate alot of people. With its Beautiful Mountain Style Kitchen and its "Rustic" Mountain Charm it is sure to be the perfect getaway to enjoy with family and friends. The Farmhouse has 3 bathrooms. We have just added an additional shower room with toilet. Not accessible from inside the house but located just outside the sitting room. See pictures for more information on it. NEW Bathroom (Toilet/Sink) in master bedroom downstairs. So, we have 3 toilets, and 2 showers for groups with more guests. Our property is located within 12 minutes of Galax, 10 minutes of Fries & less than half a mile to the New River Trail and the beautiful Chestnut Creek. Only 13 minutes from Walmart. Fancy Gap is only 30 minutes away. The Grayson Highlands State Park is located only 35 miles from our place where you can access the Appalachian Trail, see wild ponies, and Hike to the highest point in Virginia. We are only a short 20 minute drive to I-77. Also near us you will be able to find lots of major attractions such as Claytor Lake State Park, New River Trail State Park, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Mabry Mill, Mount Airy NC (Home of Andy Griffith), Foster Falls State Park, Virginia Creeper Trail (Perfect for riding bikes), Damascus Va (The Hikers Town), Buffalo Mountain, and Best of all we are located 15 minutes from Felts Park in Galax which holds the Annual Fiddler's Convention, which happens every year in August and it is only a 25 minute drive to Hillsville where they hold the Annual Labor Day Gunshow and Flea Market in September. One of the largest shows this side of the Mississippi River. Old Fiddler's Farm sits tucked back in the Mountains near the New River, but is only a short drive to town. So whether your coming to do alot of sight seeing or just coming to relax...Old Fiddler's Farm is just the place for you. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the whole farm and enjoy the trails and woods. Very private and peaceful. Enjoy the golf cart as well. Other things to note Cell Phone Service : US Cellular, Sprint and T-Mobile have service at the house. Verizon has some service but is a little Spotty. AT&T is not a popular carrier in our area so we are unsure of that one. We do have good wifi now (New May 2022). Our Home is air conditioned. The main level has central heat and air, the upstairs bedrooms each have their own window units along with the cottage (4th Bedroom).
