There is an outdoor bar outback as well as a fire pit built into the patio and a BBQ. (The fire pit is seasonal and can NOT be used during high fire danger periods.) You can hang out, BBQ, play some music and relax outside. There are a few restaurants nearby where you can enjoy a nice meal if you don’t feel like cooking. We are about 2,500 ft. in elevation and get snow a few times a year. The house is great for a big family Thanksgiving or Christmas. (You might even get a white Christmas.) Also, If you can find it there is an old 2 story fort hidden directly behind the house. Please Note: There is another rental on the property so you will pass by that when you come up to the house. Please drive safe as children might be playing outside. This house is at the end of the driveway. NOTE: The house is listed for 16 people however up to 20 people can stay easily but there are only enough beds for 12 plus two futon mattress' in the closets and the rest can use air mattresses, or sleep on the couch, etc... (Air mattresses can be provided upon request.) There is an additional charge per person after 12. Guest access There is easy access into the house, there are no steps and it is single story. Wide hallways and big rooms. There are 7 acres you are welcome to hike around and explore. You have the house and surrounding area completely to yourself. There are great view as well as beautiful mountains all around you. There is a seasonal creek along the side of the property as well as lots of wooded areas to explore and big open flat areas as well. Go outside and explore or just hang out around the house or out on the private back patio. Other things to note PLEASE READ: The house is over 15 years old and there is wear and tear. The carpet has wear and tear, a big tear in front of one bedroom (with duct tape) and it has some stains, the linoleum has some rips, tears, cracks, smudges in several places that make it look worn and looks stained, but it’s not, and the furniture is not in top condition and has dings, scratches, stains, and cracks etc. I want you to know all of this before you book my house so that it won't reflect in my reviews. If you want to pristine brand new place, this is not the place for you. Please don’t knock down my review for this. Thanks for understanding. The fire pit can only be used during burn season. You can not have a bon fire during high fire danger periods which can change from year to year. The average season that you can use the fire pit is December -April, but may very from season to season. There is also another rental on the lower property and you will have to pass it to get to the house. Please DRIVE SLOW because there could be children out playing. The fort is directly behind the house nearest to the master bedroom. I do have neighbors on the east side of my property.
