Gap Mercantile is located in quaint Caddo Gap, AR. The overnight rental is part of the actual historical Gap Mercantile, an old general store that was built in 1932. The store is still in operation and is open to the public during the summer season Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 4. You will have the cottage area in the back of the store that was renovated to accommodate overnight guests that has its own private entrance. This rental is just a short walk from the Caddo River. The space The 650 square foot Mercantile Cottage is located in the back of the historic Gap Mercantile building. It features two bedrooms and a restroom with shower, as well as a roomy living area, along with a kitchenette where simple meals can be prepared using a microwave or toaster oven. There's also a small refrigerator and a dining area that seats six. The cottage and store are featured on the Farm Hand's Companion You Tube channel if you'd like to see more detail. Guest access The Mercantile is currently open on during the summer season from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 to 4. There is a potential for noise from the store area in the cottage during those hours. If you should be visiting Caddo Gap when the store is not open, and you would like to visit the store please let us know and we will do our best to schedule a time for you to tour the Mercantile. Other things to note We provide Wi-fi for out guests. We also supply a television, DVD player, and assortment of DVD's, but no cable TV is provided.
