TV includes Netflix, HBO and Apple TV and surround sound. Access to bikes to explore the towpath & Delaware canal. The space This is our fill time property that we are happy to share with you. It is ideal for weekend get-aways and only 1.5 hours by car from NYC or Philadelphia. Great for visiting beautiful Bucks County. Frenchtown is 3 miles up river and New Hope 9 miles down. There is easy access to the Delaware Canal Towpath for walking or biking. Guest access The guest house sits apart from the main house and offers a private back deck, front lawn and meadow with bocce court. We have bikes, tubes and a canoe for your use, but you must be able to transport the boats with your own vehicle. We may be able to help but cannot guarantee our availability. Other things to note Things to do: • Explore the river towns up and down the Delaware river: Frenchtown, NJ / Stockton, NJ / Lambertville, NJ (great for antiquing), New Hope, PA. Great for shopping and sightseeing. • Bike up and down the historic towpath of the Delaware canal. We have bikes available • Enjoy polo in Tinicum Park on Saturdays, starting at 2pm in summers. Bring a picnic. It’s just 1 mile north of here. • Go canoeing on the Delaware canal or Delaware river. We have a canoe. • Play “disc golf” in Tinicum Park. • Go tubing on the Delaware River in summer. We have tubes available and can help with the logistics. Or use the commercial tubing company, which operates out of Point Pleasant, PA, 5 miles south of us. • Enjoy the fall foliage by taking a drive through the countryside. Between the house and Frenchtown • Frenchtown offers several coffee shops with light food for breakfast and lunch • Descendants Brewery in Milford has a diverse menu and good brews • El Charro del Rio in Milford has great Mexican in a casual, BYOB setting • The Milford House has recommendable fish and seafood on the menu in a cozy farmhouse-like setting. • Lumbertville General Store, great for lunch, especially outside • There are many other great places to eat and drink within a 20 minutes drive.
