A nice walkout basement suite that backs onto Preservation Park. A 2 bedroom unit has a master bedroom with a queen size bed and a bedroom with a double bed. 40 min walk to University of Guelph, 5 min walk to grocery store. Fully furnished unit that features two desks to do work and a small table for enjoying your meals, with connection to wifi. We are open to longer-term stays. The space To keep our guests safe, we are taking extra care to clean and disinfect all surfaces due to COVID-19. The hosts occupy the first floor. The guests have their own unit in the walkout basement that has a separate entrance. The self-check in process allows us to keep social distance. Cleaning products will be accessible to guests. This is a basement unit backing onto Preservation Park, making you feel like you are living in the country while being steps away from the amenities of Guelph. You can see many different types of animals from your windows. Over 80 species of birds observed from the yard. We frequently have rabbits, raccoons, skunks, snakes, turtles, and the occasional deer in our yard. So if you don't like animals this is not the place for you. Down the street is access to kilometers of trails through Preservation Park. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils etc. and includes, tea, coffee, oil, salt and pepper. Bathroom is recently renovated. There is one Queen bed and one Double bed. A mattress on the floor can be requested in advance. This unit is basic, but has everything you need for short or longer term stays. Think of it as your home-away-from-home. We live upstairs and conduct various maintenance on the property throughout the year. We also care for a small garden in the summer in the yard. While we try to maintain privacy for guests, please note you may see us around and in the yard because we live on the property. Guest access Guests are able to access a shared back yard.
