The space High Road House sits on the highest street above downtown Old Bisbee with great views of the Mule Mountains and into the mountains of Mexico. It is an early 1900's miner's home that has been adapted to expose optimal light and space. Walking trails through a mountain oak hillside begin directly above the house. The house is comfortable, quiet, and private. extra queen mattresses is in the loft on a futon frame.The house also includes a secluded veranda, the loft , a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and a bathroom with a 6 foot claw-foot tub that has a shower. Original Bisbee art and murals by local artists and wildlife sculptures create an ambiance unique to Bisbee's art community. The house sits on the Rose Stairs, part of the Bisbee 1000. The stairway leads to the downtown area, stores, art galleries and restaurants. There is off street parking above the house and 20 steps down a stairway into the house. Guest access You can see downtown Bisbee and Brewery Gulch from this neighborhood, but you are above the commercial area. The owners who manage the rental live on the same road as the house and have been residents for 40 years.
