Rustic jungle retreat. Indoor/outdoor living. This lush jungle area is regularly visited by monkeys, toucans, and blue morphos. Quiet, except for the sounds of the jungle or an occasional motorcycle. Secluded and a little wild. 2 miles off the paved road, need 4 wheel drive car. The space House is on eight acres with two creeks and a waterfall. There are three levels, the lower has covered parking and large tiled patio space, bedroom, bathroom, outdoor hot water shower, and laundry room. The main floor has a spacious open living/kitchen/dining space. The couch can be reconfigured to make a bed. The kitchen has been recently updated. There is a large dining room table and plenty of dishes, pans, utensils and appliances. Two bedrooms are in this floor plus a bathroom. A large wrap around porch has rocking chairs and a hammock. Up a circular staircase is a large loft space with a queen size bed and bathroom. There is a TV here that you can connect to your computer but there is no cable. Guest access Guest may explore grounds and surrounding countryside. Hiking trails lead to rivers, creeks and waterfalls. May use pool, sauna and yoga pavilion. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive to the beach at Dominical one way and the town of San Isidro the other way. Other things to note This is a wild place, full of nature, the unknown. Please be sure you are comfortable with that. Occasionally things happen, the power goes out, the internet stops working, a bat flies in. Adventuresome people only. May not be safe for small children unless closely supervised.
