On the bank of the Hudson River, the views are spectacular in every season. Nearby are the Catskill Mountains, Hudson NY, countless arts venues, ski destinations, Saugerties and Woodstock. Great locale for bikers, outdoors folks, stargazers, and birders. My place is good for couples or solo adventurers. The space Lovely, large second floor bedroom has a private, keyless entry. Your bed is queen size with organic cotton sheets and down comforter and extra pillows. Also with a private bathroom with claw foot tub and all the amenities you require. There is a small attached bedroom with a double bed that is suitable for two. ($25 extra if you need the bed in the small attached bedroom.) All windows look out onto the Hudson River. I am not sharing interior spaces with my guests. I am still COVID cautious for many reasons. Thank you for understanding. But in the small bedroom I've added a teakettle, toaster and small refrigerator - for your white wine and restaurant left-overs. Guest access There are outdoor spaces for your use. A huge new deck overlooking the River with sunny and shaded sitting areas and a table for eating. And a fire pit - if conditions permit. You may also walk our 20 acre woods with views of the mountain, wetlands and Hudson River. During your stay Pat works at the local library and is able to answer your questions and help you to navigate the area, if necessary. Easiest to text me. Other things to note I live on an unpaved but well-maintained gravel road. Hope that is ok for you and your car. In winter, it is best to have all-wheel drive as there is a sloping driveway to the house. Water is well-sourced, not treated municipal water. Depending on the level of the water table, it can have the odor of sulphur. You'd pay extra for that at the spas in Saratoga! It is safe and clean; good for your hair and skin. We drink it but it can be "fragrant" and I provide store bought water for you.
