We are so excited to have you enjoy our four bedroom Victorian villa featuring old charm and character! Bring the family to this great place with lots of room for fun and relaxation! The space We are located in the heart of Parkesburg and are within a 30 minute drive from some of Lancaster County's main attractions...Sight and Sound Theaters, Strasburg Railroad and the village of Intercourse. Also conveniently located within 45 minutes of historic Philadelphia...the Franklin Institute, Liberty Bell and Independance Hall. The Parkesburg train station is within walking distance and every day you will hear its whistle as it blows through town! A complete Victorian house with full amenities. The house has a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to cook during your stay. The laundry and small powder room sit just off the kitchen. We have a main family room in the front of the house and a spacious dining room with a large oak dining table that seats six. On the other side of the foyer is a den with a large sofa, smart TV (no cable) and a writing desk. Just off the front porch is a small screened in room with two rockers to sit and watch traffic and people go by! On the second floor there are four bedrooms. Three rooms feature a queen size bed. The fourth room adjoins the one bedroom and has a twin sized daybed with a trundle underneath. There is a door that you can lock between the two rooms however the lounge room opens into the hallway without a door, only a curtain that pulls across the doorway. You will find a pack n play in the hall closet. A full sized bathroom with a shower (no tub) is located at the top of the stairs. There is also a balcony going out from the hallway on the second floor. It overlooks the back yard and has a glider swing to enjoy an early moning cup of coffee! Behind the house is a picnic area with a fire pit and picnic table and benches for a relaxing evening of roasting marshmallows and sitting by a crackling fire! We provide kindling and firewood. There's also a gas grill on the back porch. We provide a welcome treat (on the buffet in dining room) along with coffee, creamer, sugar and teabags. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house excluding the basement and attic. There's plenty of parking along the street and also a driveway beside the house. Other things to note We want to assure you that when you book this house, it is exclusively yours and not shared with other guests.We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. By reserving this suite, you are agreeing to abide by the following rules: 1. Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises. 2. No parties allowed. 3. No pets. A $100.00 additional cleaning fee will be charged for policy violation.
