The Santa Fe route went through Gainesville and made our town a bustling hub of commerce. The original depot housed a Harvey House and today its a museum for visitors going from Fort Worth to Oklahoma City. Our citizens rallied together to restore the depot to its former grandeur. Our room honors its legacy with original colors of the Santa Fe line, an antique claw foot tub for a relaxing soak.
