Welcome to our cabin in Highcroft, nestled at the end of Summerhome Park in Forestville. Built in the early 1900s, this cozy and charming, fully updated, knotty pined cabin sits just steps away from a private Russian River beach for local neighbors. The house comes fully equipped with 4 kayaks, 6 beach chairs, an umbrella, lifejackets and everything you will need for the perfect summer day on the river. The space What makes this cabin so special: Outdoor lounging deck with BBQ and large picnic table for dining, a kitchen with everything you need to cook and entertain, extra room for dedicated office, Wi-Fi, Streaming TV (with HBO, Showtime, Apple, Netflix, AMC plus, Peacock, Paramount/CBS). New beautiful, mid-century modern propane stove in living room for ambience and warmth. You will drive down a secluded mile long road into Summerhome Park, a neighborhood established in 1908, beautifully restored with just 130 homes, just a stone's throw from Korbel winery. You will feel like you are in another world with redwood trees all around you. It feels like you traveled back in time to your camp from childhood. It is truly a magical place! You will park your car and climb 12 steps up to our cabin, which is located just across the street from a private entrance to Russian River. Entry to the cabin is into the open living room, dining room and kitchen. Our main bedroom has a king sized bed and our guest room has a queen sized bed. We have two patio areas - one just off the kitchen with seating, and another with a large picnic table for 10 people with another seating area with a fire pit. On the river, enjoy using one of our 4 kayaks or just lounge in one of our 8 beach chairs with umbrella. You can even be daring and try the rope swing! It's really fun to kayak upstream to the bridge. Kayaking downstream to Guerneville takes about 3-4 hours, but you'll need to plan a ride back! Our neighborhood is just a few miles away from downtown Guerneville and wineries in Healdsburg. Drive a little bit farther for beautiful hikes and sunsets on the beach in Jenner.
