An idyllic stay at the Mountain View’s Red Barn House for up to 4 guests. The house boasts views of Mt Rainier, Cascade Mountains and the Green River Valley. Located on the peaceful 5 acre Mountain View property- the perfect country getaway. The house has a large vaulted ceiling and other wood craftsmanship, a beautiful patio with outdoor dining, private hotub and firepit. Centrally located restaurants, malls, wedding venues, sightseeing, state parks, ski resorts, kayaking, fishing and golfing. The space A beautiful secluded Red Barn House Getaway on the Mountain View property, WA Sleeps 4 adults comfortably on 2 queen beds. The house also has a pack n play if needed. The recently modernised bucolic country house has 2 floors. The ground floor has a king bedroom (with its own TV) and a queen bedroom. The house comfortably sleeps 4. Both bedrooms have wall heaters. The bathroom bath/shower combo across the hallway from the bedrooms has a double basin and a toilet with bidet function. Upstairs boasts a breathtaking wood vaulted ceiling with double glazed windows, heating and cooling system from a modern mini split system. Experience the peaceful and immersive atmosphere of this secluded getaway. This upstairs area is a favorite for family, friends and guests alike, boasting an open plan kitchen with coffee bar, a spacious living area with large TV and a dining area with dining room for 8. Guests have access to the Red Barn House paved, covered outdoor patio connected to the Red Barn House and overlooking Mt. Rainier ( on a clear day) and the surrounding Cascade mountains. The private use hot tub, fire pit, propane BBQ and bucolic outdoor furniture entices guests to spend hours outdoor on the covered patio with a favorite drink or someone, romantic dinners and sundowners. The house is only 10 to 15 minutes drive away from large stores, malls, restaurants and movie theatre, 30 minutes from Seatac, 55 minutes from local ski slopes and lodges, a few minutes drive away from the pacific raceway and Washington golf course and local state parks. Experience a PNW stay and try some local white water kayaking, hiking, salmon fishing, mountain biking, endless sightseeing and adventures. The house and property are strictly animal and smoke free due to homeowners pet dander and smoke allergies. We endeavour to keep the house as allergen free as possible for guests stays, using plant derived natural cleaning products, natural laundry detergent and no plug in air fresheners. Pure essential oils of clove, citrus and tea tree are used in all our cleaning products on floors and furniture and can be very toxic to cats and dogs. The Red Barn House garage stores the Mountain View House farming equipment and homeowners have access to this garage at all times during guests stay. The garage is locked off and guests can request access to the garage for use of the laundry facilities that are located in the Red Barn House Garage. The house is strictly no smoking, no shoes and no animals due to homeowners pet dander and smoke allergies. Guests are asked to respect these requirements. Guests will be provided with disposable slippers on access to the house. Guest access Only minutes from local city centre, SEA airport and main motorways. Surrounded by nature, ranches, farmsteads and beauty. Long winding private road and driveway. Parking in front of The Red Barn House for two cars. Guest access information will be sent to guest the day of arrival. Self check in or welcome in person ( if homeowners are staying in the Mountain View House at time of guest stay. The house is strictly no smoking, no shoes and no animals due to homeowners pet dander and smoke allergies. Guests are asked to respect these requirements. Guests will be provided with disposable slippers on access to the house. Other things to note Mountain View is a 5 acre property. Guests may encounter homeowners doing farm, yard maintenance and gardening on the property during their stay. Homeowners will always endeavor to respect guest privacy at all times. The Red Barn House is located 300 feet from the main house with a line of greenery, shrubs bushes and trees for privacy. The house is not totally secluded but guests will be able to have privacy at the Red Barn House and while using the hot tub and patio. Guests also have use of a wooden privacy screen for the hot tub. The Red Barn Farmhouse wood burning stove, garage and farm equipment are not available for guest use. Mountain View property is nestled is on the bluff above the Green River Valley and the property does not have enclosed fencing. During the cooler months the property may very occasionally experience a power outage if there is high winds. A generator and support in using it will be provided for guests use. During summer months the weather can get hot and guests are encouraged to leave windows in the barn open or use the air conditioning unit and ceiling fans. Laundry facilities located in the Red Barn House unfinished garage. Private access direct from Red barn House into the garage through the inter leading door ( the garage is not heated and is also a shared space with the homeowners). Please note that the unfinished garage is exactly this: unfinished and rustic, but functional for guests laundry needs, should they arise. Homeowners or short term stay guests may be staying in the main Mountain View House during guest stay in the Red Barn House. The driveway, farm field and private road are shared areas with the Mountain View House guests and homeowners. Guests staying in the Red barn House do not have access to the main Mountain View house. Guests are also requested to not walk or explore the gardens around the main Mountain View House as these areas are private access to the main Mountain View House. These include the infinity view garden area, private main house patio and main house hot tub (unless the Red Barn House guests are associated with the main Mountain View House booking). The Red Barn House has no child gates around the house and on the stairs and guests travelling with children take full liability and responsibility for the children in their care. Red Barn House wood burning stove and garage is not available for guest use. No pets are allowed in or on the property and Red Barn House due to homeowner's pet dander allergies. The cleaning team also uses pure natural essential oils in the cleaning products for cleaning and fumigation. These oils include clove, tea tree and citrus and these can be toxic to animals especially dogs and cats. Nestled right above the Green River Valley and overlooking the Cascade mountains, this is nature’s backyard—and sometimes, the local bugs, critters or wildlife might wander in to say hello. We do our best to keep them out, but hey, they lived here first! If one of these tiny or beautiful visitors stops by, don’t panic—just let us know if you need help. Thanks for embracing the wild side of your getaway, and we have no doubt you will enjoy every minute of your stay. We are grateful for guests that keep our simple house rues, enabling the Red Barn House to be as allergen free as possible and a little slice of paradise for guest stays in years to come. No air freshener plug ins, natural laundry detergent provided and pure essential oil cleaning products used throughout the house. The Red barn house has privacy blinds in the downstairs bedrooms. Upstairs living room and kitchen, we keep the beautiful windows clear of blinds that will block the breathtaking views over the valley, Cascade Mountains and Mt Rainier. The two houses on our bucolic Mountain View property are separated by 300 feet of mature hedges and trees enabling guests to have the privacy they need during their stay. The gravel driveway and private road is shared by both houses on the 5 acre property. We do consider intimate family gatherings or retreats on the Mountain View property. Guests booking the property for a small gathering would need to book both the Red Barn House ( sleeps 4) and the main Mountain View House ( sleeps 6). Special requirements, restrictions on number of visitors and extra insurance cost and security deposits will be required for all intimate family gatherings. Strictly no more than 4 guests without homeowners pre approval. No more than 2 cars without homeowners pre approval. No extra visitors are allowed unless guests have prior written consent from homeowners. Undisclosed guests, animals, smoking, group gatherings, parties/or events without prior written consent from owners will have the guests stay immediately cancelled without refund. Homeowner will arrange for all bedding and a general clean of the house to be done every 7 days for guests staying for more than a 7 day stay. This clean is essential and will be charged at $100 per clean. Longer stay guests ( more than 7 days) will need to agree to this weekly clean before booking the house. For remote workers staying at Mountain View, WA: Just over 100mb/s wireless internet available. Sound travels out in the serenity of the countryside, especially when you are nestled high above the valley at Mountain View. When outside, you may occasionally hear sounds including the neighbor's children ( one of whom is deaf) at play and farm animals sounds from the local neighboring country homes. Strictly no outside music after 10 pm or before 9 am. The Red barn House has audio and video recorded camera surveillance on all entrances and on the sides of the house facing into farm fields and driveway in front of house. These cameras are on all the time, 24/7. All cameras are identified on homeowners app and there are no cameras or audio recording devices inside the house. Instacart, Ubereats, local restaurants Amazon etc. delivers to Mountain View. We ask all guests to meet the delivery driver outside near the gate entrance to the property as they can easily confuse the delivery and deliver to the Mountain View House and surrounding farmhouses by mistake. Guests are advised to have a car during their stay. Access for Uber or another taxi service is normally available if guests are wanting to come without a car. The closest food store is an easy drive of around 15 minutes away from the property. Costco, Walmart, Fred Meyers, local restaurants and malls are easily accessible within 15 to 20 minutes drive from the property. The Mountain View property has uninterrupted infinity views overlooking the valley and mountains. We do not have gates, fences or any barriers to keep guests away from the bluff. The guest takes full liability for themselves, and children during their stay. The hot tub located on the Red Barn House covered patio and use for guests private use throughout the year. It is deep cleaned between each guest stay and is NOT shared with the secondary house on the property. We do however ask guests to not walk around the property in the nude. We do provide guests use of hot tub robes to use between the house and the hot tub. Thank you. Guests will be provided with disposable slippers on access to the house.
