Woodland Cabin with Pond Frontage
10x12' cabin has a queen sized bed in a sleeping loft is just a five minute walk from the Pond . Absolute privacy in a woodland setting . Our pond 650’ of pond frontage is shared with no one else. You will be the only ones with access to it. Off grid , no running water. We provide 5 gallons outside for dishes, and 2 gallons inside for cooking. Bring your own cooler. . Solar powered led lights inside , Primitive composting toilet is located in an outhouse. The space This cabin is situated on a wooded 35 acre parcel with river and pond frontage. Privacy at its finest. Swim float , dock , two canoes , fire ring. . Our 650 feet of pond frontage is shared with no one else. On a busy summer day you may see a canoe or two ,or a small boat Go by with people fishing. There is a 10 hp limit on boat motors on the pond. Most of the boats that use the pond are canoes and kayaks. Closest neighbor is 400’ away from our dock. From the cabin, the closest neighbor is about 1/2 mile. You will see others on the pond, but at times you will have it all to yourself. Sit on the dock and watch the loons fish . The pond is also frequented by Bald Eagles and Osprey. The pond is a five minute walk from the cabin. Easy terrain on an old logging road. A great place for birders and wildlife enthusiasts! If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, and reconnect with nature, this is the place. Unique Liberty village close by. Being able to climb a short ladder is essential to be able to get to the sleeping loft. A WOOD STOVE IS THE SOURCE FOR HEAT . IF YOU ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH HOW TO USE ONE PLEASE LET US KNOW, WE’D BE HAPPY TO MEET YOU THERE AND SHOW YOU. Wood is provided. Please do not bring in wood from other states. To access the water front just continue to walk down past the cabin where you park. Other things to note There is a place to charge your phone inside, however at this time it’s only charging androids. During the winter months we do not plow the road into the cabin. We do clear a spot to park off the access road. We use a sled and backpacks to shuttle our gear in. It’s only a few hundred feet. You can drive in with light snow cover and a four wheel drive vehicle. If you’re arriving late and would like me to pre-warm the cabin let me know ! A small fee is requested. Expect some mosquitoes in season. A solar heated camp shower is provided for you to use. I provide some free firewood for the fire pit and the wood stove. Please do not bring wood in from out of state. You can sometimes unknowingly transport invasive insects that can destroy native trees. Because of this , it’s against the law.
