Sleeping 4-6 between 4 beds, Plum Retreat provides a one-of-a-kind Door County experience. With 2 large bedrooms (plus giant living room with queen sofa bed, dining area and full kitchen), the 1700 sq-feet have a charming cottage-like feel. Conveniently located with gorgeous perennial gardens, it makes a romantic, peaceful or fun space. Private lawn & patio/grill. Pretty much everything has been thought of. Last summer, all 37 groups of people gave it a 5-star rating! The space This is a superb, clean and welcoming house. Warm relaxed and charming, a comfortable eclectic mix of old and modern. Loads of space inside and out. It has been appreciated both by couples who have enjoyed having quiet space to themselves, and by whole families who made it their own. With a full kitchen, washer dryer, patio grill, gas fireplace, TV with cable, Netflix and Amazon, it pretty much caters to everyone. Upstairs, the two bedrooms are separated by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, which has proven to suit guests well. Downstairs there is a further half-bath. French doors lead to a patio with furniture, large umbrella and gas-powered grill, set amid ever-more-stunning gardens (as the garden is being constantly improved and developed). Next door, there is another vacation rental home (just on the downstairs level). The two rentals are listed separately on Airbnb, as they each are entirely independent, the only exception being the shared entry vestibule. It's possible to book both units at once if there is availability, and have the run of both places. Guest access Guests enter through a small vestibule, shared with the neighboring vacation rental. Once inside "Plum" the entire space is private, with light streaming in on three sides on both first and second floor.
