Indian Cave Cottage is located on a mountain, in the forest, but only 5 miles from downtown Hendersonville. You will feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. The main floor is an open room with real wood floors, a rock fireplace, pool table, sitting and dining areas and kitchen. Sliding doors open onto the expansive deck. The cottage is located 20 miles from Asheville, 20 minutes from DuPont State Forest and Pisgah Nat'l Forest and 3 miles from Jump Off Rock. Come stay! Again & again! The space Indian Cave Cottage is centrally located to downtown Asheville, downtown Greenville, DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, The Blue Ridge Parkway and all of the great things to do in Western North Carolina. All that while being only 5 miles from downtown Hendersonville. The cottage located at an elevation of 2600', which is 500' above the valley. This difference in elevation, as well as the cottage being surround by forest keeps the temperature down during the hottest months. Indian Cave Cottage feels like home the second you walk in the door. The warm decor and wide open main floor with a skylight capped vaulted ceiling will relax you and help you clear your mind of everything you are here to get a vacation from. Whether your family engages in a friendly game of pool, relaxes in front of the fireplace with a movie, or if you just sit and watch the trees sway and the birds fly by, you will feel your stresses melting away. There are two TVs in the cottage with streaming services available. They TVs are not connected to cable, satellite or an antenna. They are connected to the internet. Downstairs, there are two bedrooms with king size beds and a den with a futon that folds out to provide sleeping space for two more, if needed. Guest access Guests have full use of the cottage and property. There is a workshop, which the owners use for storage, which is locked. This workshop is separate from the cottage and the owners will always message before coming to the property. Other things to note *PET FREE HOME! This is a strict rule. If you are found to have a pet with you, you will be asked to pay a $100 per night fee or asked to leave immediately without a refund. *Strict Smoke free home inside and out. *No parties.
