The Oasis is a private detached Guest house next to a larger home in the nicest part of Carlsbad. Pass through a shady courtyard to the private entry of your cozy casita that sleeps up to 5 ( 4 more comfortable ). Living room w/ kiva fireplace, daybed with trundle plus chair size sofa bed, smart TV, Kitchen & dining. Bedroom w/ queen bed, & bathroom w/ laundry. Share the beautiful backyard, with hot tub, covered patio, hammock, bbq, smoker & trampoline. The space Enter through the gate to the peaceful shared courtyard. We have comfortable patio seating for lounging or dining. Take a nap in the hammock, unwind in the hot tub, be a kid again jumping on the trampoline ( does get leaves on it but they brush right off), make dinner on the bbq. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy the great New Mexico weather....To the left is a big house ( rented separately), to the right behind the garage is your private 1 bedroom Casita. It's about 500 SQ ft with its own kitchen, dining, living space, bedroom, bathroom and laundry. The cozy living room has a gas burning kiva fireplace, twin size daybed with trundle, plus a separate sleeper chair, central air conditioning, wifi, big tv with Roku/ streaming services, board games to play! The kitchen has a full size fridge, microwave/ convection oven, two burner stovetop, sink with normal and instant hot tap ( So nice for tea!), and basic spices and cooking gear provided, coffee bar area and a dining table with seating for 4. Just one picture window but there are two glass doors, plus skylights in the kitchen and bathroom which keep it pleasant and bright. The living/ dining space leads into the pleasantly dark bedroom for sleeping, with comfortable queen bed, romantic Moroccan mood lighting, extra linens in the closet and a pack n play if you need it. The ensuite bathroom has a shower (we provide shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash/ clean towels for shower and hot tubbing) and private laundry area. Note- Hot tub works 98% of the time and is set at a constant temp of 102 degrees F. It is unfortunately impossible to guarantee as things can break, but we have regularly scheduled weekly service / maintenance and do our very best to keep it available at all times. If you notice an issue please let us know right away and we will do our best to fix it. I try to be very forthright about everything and truly we do try very hard to be accommodating to our guests, please feel free to ask in advance if you're worried about anything in particular! Guest access We leave you parking space in the driveway. You have access to our courtyard and backyard that you share. The guesthouse is all your own private space. Other things to note We will sleep 5, but it's very tight for 5 adults. There is a queen bed, two twin beds ( one of which is a daybed, one a trundle), a folding single chair futon bed, and a pack n play. Hot tub is covered but not locked, it is a heavy hard cover but don't let kids play on top of it.
