Cozy family home in a great location, around the corner from Central Street and 4 blocks from Ryan Field. The Metra train to downtown Chicago is one block away and the ride takes 22 minutes. The space Historic, family-friendly, modest home furnished eclectically with antiques and oriental rugs. My house is not large, but still spacious and comfortable for five. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a 4 burner range, large sink, dishwasher and eating nook. Upon request laundry is available in the locked basement. The basement has a separate entrance and is not part of the Airbnb space. There are front and back porches, which are wonderful in the summer and a great fireplace for the colder months. The location is the true gem of this place. A walk around the block includes 2 bakeries, 2 coffee shops, a toy store, a candy store, several boutiques and even a specialty gourmet deli/grocery. There are six restaurants less than 2 blocks away, yet my house is on a quiet residential street in nice family-friendly, Evanston neighborhood. The Metra, one block away, makes traveling downtown, or north to Ravinia fast and convenient. Northwestern University is close by and it is a very easy walk to Ryan Field. Parks, flower shops, spice store, boutiques, bakeries, chocolate shop, gelato and sushi.... I could keep going. This is a great location! Guest access The entire one-story house.
