Our property has been described as being peaceful from the moment you drive in. You can enjoy the serene surroundings on your front deck, by the pool or fire pit. Borrow the ice chest and enjoy a picnic at Norris Lake, or a 20 min drive to Windrock, & 30 min to Knoxville. If you need to work we do have excellent internet and a fully stocked kitchen for longer stays. The space Enjoy this Sleek Studio with ample room to spread out. This room is on the first floor. There is a 1 bedroom next to this one and our young adult boys live on the 2nd floor. This property has a lot of open water and large culvert/drains, so it is not safe for young children. No pets are allowed and smoking is only allowed outdoors. Please realize that we are located out in the country in a tropical climate zone. It is possible you will see snakes, lizards, turtles, vermin, raccoons, cats, dogs, beavers, groundhogs, birds, rabbits, coyotes, bears and deer, as well as all kinds of bugs including, ticks, ants, spiders, bees, wasps, mosquitos, knats, dragonflies, and many other unidentifiable insects. This is not an exclusive list, but gives you an idea of the nature you may encounter. We work very hard to keep said critters outside of your apartment, but cannot promise a bug free environment. If you keep the doors closed it will greatly help to keep anything unwanted outside. Guest access There is a charcoal bbq in front of the Rustic Room for guest use. The laundry room is up a flight of stairs and is shared between the apartments. It is free to use, with detergent, for guests that stay 4+ nights. These stairs are covered by the roof line and connect our house deck to the apartments. Although our home is right next door you will be surprised how private your space feels. Other things to note We have installed security cameras that capture the doorways and driveways of the apartments and our home and they are always on. We have 5 children who live here. The oldest 3 young adults live in the upstairs apartment. You will likely see us outside at some point, caring for the property or walking to the garage which is in front of your parking. We will do our best to give you privacy, but we love company and would very much enjoy sharing stories and finding out what brings you to our small town of Clinton. This property was once owned by a local legend and has some interesting stories from the past.
