Stay in our traditional unrestored vintage "glamper" which is a vintage camper decorated cute and feminine, with camping type accommodations, think no running water and using an outhouse. We aim to provide a five-star experience in terms of guest satisfaction—not luxury accommodations, but an accurate representation of what’s offered. Our farm is a walking environment, parking is about 100 feet away, shower and toilet are about 200 feet away over mowed pasture ground. We offer a homemade outdoor bathhouse shower, we do have drinking water from a spigot on the property as you enter to fill your water bottles and a water container to bring to the campsite. Burning wood is prohibited during burn bans (late July-September) or during high hot winds, propane fires are an acceptable alternative, we provide the appliance but not the propane. This trailer is not upscale or modern, it has granny's farm vintage vibe. It is however equipped with power, mini fridge, heater and coffee maker. Far from a modern RV but "Farm Chic" which is junky, chippy, dusty, patina style. Nothing is new or like new, it is quirky and funky for those that appreciate a unique hand curated, vintage, artsy, country vibe. We invite artists to even come paint her! We will comp a stay for approved artists! Yes you may use the vintage commode as a night time chamber pot. Just dump the liquid in the bushes and rinse, put TP in the trash. Camper is equipped with a single top bunk and a double bed on the bottom. We have a cabin or bell tent have to sleep 4-8 people. Please inquire about availability. We suggest you bring your own sleeping bags which is easiest, but if you are not able to, we have you covered with sheets, blankets and pillowcases in the closet to make your own bed on top of the decorative quilts. Please fold the blankets up and put them on the top bunk when finished and leave the used linens in a pile for laundering. The trailer is equipped with a fan, in the summer it gets pretty hot during the day but cools off nicely at night, temps dip into the 60s overnight and it's very comfortable. We use peppermint oil to repel rodents, please do not eat inside the trailer or keep any food inside the trailer except in the mini fridge as not to attract rodents. If you eat or store food in the trailer, a furry friend may come for a visit and a snack. Please note this is CAMPING under a tree next to a creek which is habitat for a variety of insects, some of which sneak inside. This in unavoidable. We Provide herbal insect killer, but expect bugs. Guest access Situated on a farmstead, separate entrance away from the host residence, camper is on its own 10-acre parcel. Peaceful and quiet, very relaxing during the shoulder season or weekdays. Occasionally you will hear noisy air traffic or train crossing the tracks, but it is rare. We may have other campers using another campsite on the property, we a off leash pet friendly and family friendly. Please note that during the week, you will most likely have the entire grounds to yourself or shared with only one other guest which may or may not have children and pets. Please do not book during the summer if off leash pets or children bother you. Please do not knock on neighbor's doors looking for check in, let yourself in and make yourself at home. The property is next to an airfield so it is urban bright at night, by no means pitch dark. We are in the wild west and guns are common in our neighborhood, people target shoot and shoot predators attacking livestock including unsupervised wandering dogs, however there are no guns on the property listed. Due to livestock and coyotes watch dogs carefully when off leash. If you have an unaltered male dog he may find my spayed female Coonhound irresistible, please keep intact male dogs on a leash or supervised with an e-collar so they don't follow her to my house. Dogs that do not have recall or are prone to wander must stay on a leash or tether. Dogs found unattended and wandering will be asked to leave with no refund. Animals may not be left on the property unattended at any time. We offer pony rides, farm tours, cow milking, our farm raised ground beef and steaks, farm fresh eggs, and Inflatable SUP rental to paddleboard Medical Lake 10 minutes away for additional fees. Please note that during hot summer days it is very hot inside during the day, not the best for naps. Temps plummet after 7:00 p.m. and it's nice and refreshingly cool at night We have a very friendly large loud Coonhound name Charlie who greets visitors and lets us know someone has arrived. She is super friendly and submissive to guests and visiting dogs despite her loud bay. Her small companion Cricket has little dog syndrome and does not appreciate dog aggressive dogs or small children picking her up. Quiet time is 10 pm, as the property is shared with other guests and the owners live on site, please do not use flashlights after 10 pm and stay inside the trailer quietly after 10 pm. If you arrive after 10 pm head straight to the trailer and make yourself at home. Since it's on a farm in a pasture, it is not white glove sparking clean due to the location and age of the trailer. Not recommended for children under 6. Camping property ends at the creek, please do not cross the creek or the bridge across the creek. The rural area of our region is habitat for rodents, ticks (May and June only) and mosquitoes. We use peppermint oil to repel rodents and stock bug stray to repel insects. I have confirmed we do not have the species of tick that carry tick-borne diseases in our area. Camper is equipped with bug spray for your convenience. No running water, porta potty and well water provided bring your own water bottle to fill at the spigot, we provide coffee and creamer are for our guests' use.
