Relax in this recently refurbished, late 1800s home just a few minutes’ walk from Brunswick's historic downtown, the C&O Canal path, the Potomac River and local dining. Enjoy views of Virginia and West Virginia from the back deck. Use the guest house as a base for short drives to historic Harpers Ferry, downtown Frederick, Maryland and Virginia wine country, and nearby Civil War historic sites. This home provides comfortable elegance in the heart of old Brunswick and the Potomac valley region. The space This home can sleep up to six people. It has two bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen-size bed, that share a full bath with a rainwater shower. The main floor includes a comfortable queen-sized sofa bed with access to a second full bath with a shower and tub. All sheets are 680 thread count Egyptian cotton to ensure an extra luxurious sleep. The kitchen is stocked with basic needs like coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, salt, and olive oil. For your travel ease, we also supply shampoo, body wash, hand soap, face wash and all towels. If you have clothes that need to be washed, laundry soap and dryer sheets are provided. Please note that no pets are allowed. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to all of the main floors of the house, including the first and second floors as well as the front porch and back deck. There is an unfinished basement in the house that we use for storage and prefer that guests do not go down there. The door to the basement is in the living room. Just inside that door is the broom, mop, and vacuum, if guests need them. Other things to note We welcome C&O Canal guests who are passing through Brunswick on a bicycle! We provide a hose and water to clean bikes, an accessible storage space under the house with lock/key where one can safely keep their bike during their stay and a pump to refill air in bicycle tires.
