Cove Cottage is on the scenic Oregon Coast, within the pristine Cape Falcon Marine Reserve and Oswald West State Park and its hiking trails, and near the coastal villages of Manzanita, Arch Cape, and Cannon Beach. Enjoy a panoramic ocean view in a beautiful and spotlessly clean cottage, only a two-minute walk to the beach. We rent to a maximum of 4 adult guests and two children, and do not permit parties or events. Guests observe Quiet Time and Night Sky (10pm-7 am) and Good Neighbor Policies. The space Cove Cottage is a gem. It has gambrel architecture with open lofts, wrap around windows facing forest and ocean, and simple mid-century style furnishings. The floors and walls are wood and lend a beautiful golden hue to the space. We also have a large deck, hot tub, and lawn, surrounding by hedges, trees, and bushes. Guest access Our guests have use of the entire cottage. Other things to note Cove Beach Cottage is a SMOKE FREE and NO PETS home. Maximum adults = 4, plus two additional children, or 3 adults and 3 children. Check In: 4:00 PM Check-Out: 11:00 AM (Please note: the hot tub is serviced by a contracted vendor and due to scheduling requirements of the vendor, the hot tub can be cleaned at anytime the day of check in and check out. ) WiFi and landline phone. Cell phone service spotty in this area of Oregon Coast, therefore bring with you for arrival a printed copy of directions and your assigned entry code to the front door. Beach - supervise children at all times; stay off logs near the water and watch out for sneaker waves and strong currents. Tides - they change every 6 hours. Study the tide chart. Pay close attention - do not get caught when the tide comes in! Loft - there is a small loft in the corner of the living room - it is off limits. 2'd Floor bedrooms - the second floor has two bedrooms with sloping ceilings that allow full standing in about half the space. These bedrooms are accessed via the spiral staircase; one bedroom has a queen bed and the other two twin beds. Please see the photos for a visual of the bedroom layouts. There is no bathroom on the second floor - the second bathroom is on the first floor. Spiral Stairs - do not allow children under 8 on the stairs unsupervised; the stairs can be difficult to navigate for anyone with mobility issues, or the elderly. Carrying suitcases up the stairs is also challenging for some. Also note, there is no bathroom on this level of the cottage. Sky Chair - do not swing more than three feet or you may break the window.
