Stay in our airy platform tent nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just off the Appalachian Trail. An hour from DC, it's a quick get away for a few quiet nights. Once you're here you can choose from dozens of hikes, swims, breweries and vineyards all within minutes of home. The tent is cozy and quiet complete with an outdoor shower, latrine, tiny kitchen, and big back porch to watch to the sunset. The space The platform tent is cozy and bucolic, but remember, it’s still a tent, so don’t be surprised to see our insect friends hanging around. There are screens for the biting ones which keeps you comfy while sleeping. Please park in the space directly in front of the large black gate with the white fence. You can access the tent through this gate and to the left down the lit path. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the immediate area around the tent including the fire pit. When entering and exiting please keep to the path that leads to and from the parking area and be mindful of the gardens and fruit trees. The areas farther from the tent are reserved for the property owners. Other things to note The tents bathroom facilities are limited to the composting toilet seen in the photos. Its a real reunion with nature while still being clean and safe!
