Enjoy this fully stocked, roomy, yet cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kid and pet friendly apartment. Located 15 min west of Marquette, this spot is great for families, weddings, or friends looking to explore the UP! Great for biking and snowmobiling as well with heated garage storage available upon request. The Iron Ore Heritage Trail trailhead is right across the street. Close to RAMBA trailheads, too! Nextdoor to a brewery! The space is pet friendly to dogs. I am comfortable with up to two pets. The space The Rail Street Casita is located on the second floor of a commercial building. The first floor is home to a local coffee roaster who provides fresh coffee to our guests! The unit is located on the second floor via a flight of stairs. You have the entire space fully to yourself with your own private access. There is a full kitchen stocked with basic kitchen essentials, full dining room with dining for up to 6 guests, living room with smart TV, 3 bedrooms--each with a queen sized bed, 12" memory foam mattress and 4 gel pillows for maximum comfort, and 2 luggage racks. There are also two bathrooms. One is shared and has a stand up bath/shower. The second is off one of the bedrooms featuring a clawfoot tub for baths. The laundry room is located off this second bathroom behind a locked door. To gain access, please message me via the messaging app. I do my best to provide a comfortable stay and think of little things to ensure a positive guest experience! There are 2 window AC units during the summer months. A large one in the front living room and a smaller one in the back bedroom. Guest access The second floor is all yours! You and your guests have the entire apartment to yourself. The only room closed off is the back laundry/cleaning room. I keep this locked, though if you need access to laundry please let me know and we can discuss! Other things to note The space is located on the second floor via a flight of stairs. There is no elevator. Guests must be okay with stairs. Next door is the Upper Peninsula Brewery. They're great, fun neighbors. I have yet to receive any feedback about noise complaints. This is an active brewery so you may catch some wiffs of beer brewing. The first floor is home to Dead River Coffee. This is their production space where they roast their beans. This means you may smell some beans roasting some days. The space is pet friendly, however I do not welcome cats. I am comfortable with up to two pets. Keep in mind, half the apartment is carpeted, so if your pet is prone to accidents please decide if this is the best space for you, or take appropriate measures to prevent accidents. Pets need to be leashed at all times when outside the building, as there is no yard. It is expected all pet waste will be picked up immediately and disposed in the trash can on site. There is a Pack n'Play and high chair in the closet of the back bedroom. The high chair is the Evenflo 4-in-1 Eat & Grow Convertible High Chair suitable for kids 6 mo+. It has a 5 point safety harness and four different options: (1) Infant High Chair, (2) Baby Dining Chairs and Tray, (3) Toddler Stand Alone Chair and (4) Big Kid Table and Chair. The Pack n'Play is Graco Pack and Play Portable Playard, Push Button Compact Fold, Carnival. Both items were purchase new as of August 2022.
