Restored historic dairy barn (1910) on Charlotte’s Run, a retired Hudson Valley farm affectionately known as the (foster) Puppy Farm for rehabilitating the dogs of nonprofit Mr. Bones & Co. This 400 sq ft studio cottage and deck offers Catskill Mountain sunsets and seclusion, while being just one mile from Main Street (Otto’s market and deli, Central House Tavern, a laundromat and renowned restaurant, Gaskins!) Your farm stay with us helps maintain the land so the dogs we foster thrive. The space This cottage contains one queen bed as pictured, which accommodates two people. Our cottage is a place for those looking to relax, unplug and decompress while exploring the gorgeous Hudson Valley region. While we do not have a TV, we do have Wi-Fi. Guest access VERY IMPORTANT: Please note that guests may not enter the fenced in area of the farm without prearranging it with us and receiving a direct confirmation. One of our three dogs does not enjoy meeting new dogs so for everyone’s safety, if you want to explore the grounds, walk, picnic, meditate, etc., please let us know upon check in so we can arrange for you to have exclusive and private access during the times you’d like. We give our guest first priority! Your reservation provides full access at any time to the cottage and the immediate grassy area in front of it and to the sides, all very private and on the opposite side of the farm where we live. If you have a dog, it must be leashed at all times when you’re outside the cottage or deck, unless you’ve prearranged to use the fenced in area and explore our trails. Germantown also maintains a lovely dog park called Palatine Bark approximately 1.5 miles from the cottage. If guests ignore the important policy of not accessing the fenced in area without exclusively arranging access with us prior to use, they will be asked to leave.
