Earl's Place is located on the property of Shenandoah Caverns. Our house has a NO PET policy and is a renovated farmhouse built in 1834. This Shenandoah Valley historic home is a perfect retreat for large family gatherings or a group of adults looking to visit wineries or breweries or do some hiking off Skyline Drive. Earl's Place is less than 2 hours from the DC Metro area. Come spend a weekend with us soon and enjoy all the Shenandoah Valley has to offer! The space Our charming and spacious farmhouse can accommodate groups of couples or a few families looking to relax and unwind in the Shenandoah Valley. The home includes 2 sitting rooms with large TVs for separate gathering spaces to relax, a spacious covered front porch, an outdoor dining area and a large side yard for outdoor activities with Adirondack chairs for the fire pit. Other things to note Earl's Place is located in the heart of the Shenandoah Caverns property. A caverns tour is within walking distance as well as seasonal attractions; American Celebration on Parade and the Yellow barn, where you can visit our goats and chickens. The Caverns Cafe sources local ingredients and deliver's to Earl's Place as well as packages take-out orders for the perfect picnic on the property. Earl’s Place is only 30 minutes from Bryce Resort to ski in the winter, or do some downhill mountain biking or golfing in the spring, fall or summer. Massanutten Resorts and Skyline Drive are only 35 minutes away. We are within a 5 to 20 minute drive to a number of Shenandoah Valley breweries like Hawksbill Brewing Company or Brothers Craft Brewing, or wineries like Third Hill Winery, Cave Ridge Vineyard, Shenandoah Vineyards and Muse Vineyards. Go for a scenic drive or explore the hiking paths on Skyline Drive. A plethora of restaurant options are close by and 20 minutes away in Harrisonburg, home of James Madison University.
