The space After two decades of long term rental, we opened the doors of "Das Peach Pit" to vacation guests for the first time in 2015. After enjoying 7 years of short term rentals we had the pleasure of a mid-term-rental experience with a local CRNA student and discovered we loved this model. We are conveniently located midway between downtown Asheville and Hendersonville (10 mi each way). Named with a nod toward our home's moniker "Das Peach Haus" (after my husband's lifelong nickname "Peach"), this space is a freshly renovated and furnished ground level studio apartment with plenty of natural light. Open the doors of this former carriage space onto a modern open living area with brick walls and freshly painted concrete floors softened with natural jute rugs. The exposed copper pipes complete the urban loft feel. The living room provides you with comfortable seating and a 42" HDTV with Local HD network TV and a Roku Soundbar/Streaming. The premium BeautyRest Queen bed is located in the bedroom space behind a 3/4 wall for privacy with a dresser, side tables and lamps. A handcrafted wood slab and pipe desk awaits your laptop which will have access to high speed WiFi should you need to conduct business or education during your stay. Our fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook meals and includes seating for two. A twin memory foam bed is available for occasional guests. We live across the street from a 2 acre park in a very walkable, family neighborhood. Bed and bath linens included. Laundry access. LOCATION: -We are centrally located between Asheville and Hendersonville right off of Hendersonville Rd near the US25/Airport Rd intersection. -We are 10 mi to both Asheville and Hendersonville. -20 minutes to Mission Hospital and 11 minutes to Advent Hospital -Walking distance to Planet Fitness -Easy access to: Hwy 26, AVL Airport, Sierra Nevada Brewery, Biltmore Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Outlet Mall, French Broad River, NC Arboretum, hiking and biking trails in Bent Creek and DuPont, and all major shopping needs. NOISE: Our home is located off Hendersonville Rd, a convenient thoroughfare but also a busy daytime street. It quiets down at night and isn't loud in the apartment but if you are looking for a silent location, this is definitely urban, not rural. You will hear sirens and low hum of traffic outside. We occupy the floor above you and you will hear us walking around and the tapping of Guy's nails. We operate with mutual respect regarding normal living noise level and are generally not in the area directly above you in the evenings. We will have occasional guests and will communicate when you might hear us during an evening. SPACE: Furnishings may differ slightly from posted pictures due to recent updates
